Terms of Use

Scribbn · Version 1.0 · Last updated 21 October 2026

1. Provider and scope

Scribbn is provided by Christian Klasen, Ahornweg 50, 63741 Aschaffenburg, Germany, hello@scribbn.com ("we"). These terms apply to the use of the Scribbn app and the related website. Mandatory statutory rights of consumers remain unaffected.

2. The service

Scribbn converts voice messages and audio files into text, detects the spoken language and can show key phrases, sentiment and a summary of the text. Processing is done by third-party cloud services (see the Privacy Policy). Scribbn requires an internet connection.

3. Credits

4. Purchases

Purchases are made through Google Play or the Apple App Store. The store's terms apply in addition, including payment, refunds and the withdrawal right. The price displayed in the store is binding.

Right of withdrawal for digital content: By purchasing credits you request that we make them available immediately. You acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal as soon as the credits have been made available to you and you have agreed to this.

5. Acceptable use

You may use Scribbn only lawfully and only for content you are entitled to process, in particular with respect to the privacy of the people whose voices are in the messages. It is not allowed to circumvent the credit system, to misuse ads, to disrupt the service or to use it automatically or at scale without our consent.

6. Accuracy and availability

Transcripts, language detection, key phrases, sentiment and summaries are produced automatically and may be incorrect or incomplete. Do not rely on them for decisions with legal, medical, financial or safety consequences without checking the original message. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, because the service depends on third-party providers. We may change, limit or end features.

7. Ads

Scribbn shows rewarded ads that you can choose to watch. Ad content is provided by third parties; we are not responsible for it. Details: Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its design and the Scribbn name are protected. You receive a simple, non-transferable right to use the app for your own purposes. The content of your voice messages and transcripts stays yours.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation (one that makes the proper use of the service possible and on which you may rely), our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded. This does not affect liability under mandatory law.

10. Changes

We may change these terms for valid reasons, for example legal changes or changes to the service. We will announce material changes in the app. If you keep using Scribbn after the change, the new terms apply; we will point this out when announcing the change.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this applies only to the extent that it does not remove the protection of mandatory provisions of the country of residence. If you are a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is Aschaffenburg, Germany.

We are not obliged or willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

12. Severability

If a provision is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
